Android 4.3 Leaked for the Google Nexus 4

Android 4.3 Leaked for the Google Nexus 4
Every year, Android users wait in anticipation for signs of leaked updates. The disappointment end users faced when Google delayed announcing Android 4.3 at Google I/O will soon be outweighed due to a leaked system dump by XDA Forum Member ManOnTheMoon.

The dump is available as a Team Win Recovery Project backup for the Nexus 4. Android Police has been tracking the dump, and they verified the legitimacy of it at approximately late last evening. JWR66N has unofficially been released into the wild. Although the radio and bootloader are still missing, ManOnTheMoon promised they would be available tomorrow.

Users who decide to install the leaked update should do so with caution, and after making a full Nandroid backup. There is speculation that Google’s July 24 event may give us a peak into 4.3, so those of you who are feeling less adventurous may want to wait for the official announcement.

So what? They Google is trying to take over the market...they should have kept it at $299.99

$30 is nothing for google...that market share is much more important.

Do Google Stock OTA updates lock the bootloader? My Nexus4 is rooted, and I have the flashable .33 radio.zip on my phone. Just wondering if I'm going to have to go through the process again to root it and unlock it and such.

Not sure how I feel about my note 2 at this point. But the battery life keeps me from changing. Sticking with T-Mobile at this point so what else is out there?

don't ever update ota if you unlocked the bootloader. I usually just wait for a ROM that has the new update and then flash it

Not only is the S4 better but Google is having a conference next Wednesday I believe.

Since they've gone on record stating that the "X Phone" is coming this summer and it's already mid July, one can only gather that the event on the 24th will be to announce said device, which is supposed to be the true "Google Phone" and the reason why Google bought Motorola in the first place.

So yeah...I'd wait :jawalrus:

I wouldn't. I have the Galaxy S4 and it's fantastic but so is the HTC One. Make sure you get it rooted as well, fully unlock the potential of your phone.

Specs wise there are no new phones coming out for at least the next few months that could beat the HTC or Samsung phones. The Google Motorola X phone is rumoured to have mid-range specs at best and while it will probably be a great phone you'd be selling yourself short getting it.

:whoo: Get yourself that HTC and lemme know how it is, might cop one myself as a business phone.

Why? Since when do specs matter more than user experience?

:manny: It's all about personal preference but the thought of being able to completely customise my phone to my personal needs using the best specs on a mobile platform is something that I love about having this S4. I completely wiped my Touchwiz rom off it and got that Nexus Vanilla Droid experience (with a few tweaks here and there).

That's the best thing about having Android, you can go out and get the best specced out phone and make it better than anything out because the UE will be perfect for your needs.

Finally used Google Wallet for the first time. Wouldn't work till I opened the app tho. That normal? Heard it didn't need to be open.
