yeah.. the screens all black and i cant get it to start. i put the charger in and the orange light is there, and when i call myself from another phone i hear the ringtone... the display is just fukked.

i called tech support for sprint and samsung with no luck. i'm gunna have to sent it in to samsunfg to get it fixed which is gunna be like 2 weeks before i get it back. at least i held on to the old evo, i'm gunna get that turned back on tomorrow so i have something

did you have any luck installing another rom?

I tried flashing mine and the shyt bricked on me and i was without a phone for 2 days before i was able to flash it back to the stock firmware so i might just stick with this so i dont have to go through that again. LG's android is growing on me and the hardware is nice so it's not too bad.

I tried flashing mine and the shyt bricked on me and i was without a phone for 2 days before i was able to flash it back to the stock firmware so i might just stick with this so i dont have to go through that again. LG's android is growing on me and the hardware is nice so it's not too bad.

nah, i stuck with cyan 10.2, because it was stable, and i have a lot of experience with it.
The key was using the correct recovery, and once I had that setup, 10.2 was ready to behave...

I'm using TWRP v2.6.3.3 as my recovery, all other versions were screwed up in one way or the other

They don't want our money.

Less then 100 phones have shipped. They have 100,000 forum members waiting for invites. They have contests asking you to spam twitter, facebook, and instagram for an invite. I don't like how they do business. The best way to do it is to sell the phone and let word of mouth do the rest. How can anyone promote a product that no one can buy? It sucks because it's the perfect device to me. I might wait until the end of the month which is when they said availability would increase.

Top of the line specs are pretty much unnecessary anyway. People saying not to cop a snapdragon 801 because the 805 is coming. They want a future proof device but buy a new phone every year. What's the difference between an S4/S5 or One M7/M8? Isn't kit kat optimized to be used on slower processors? People going crazy over benchmarks that have little effect on everyday use. I wanted a quad HD screen but there is no quad HD content. All I do is watch video, web browse, play music, and text. I'll wait a year and buy a G3 or another qHD phone at a better price. Plus, Chinese brands like Xiaomi and Huawei are trying to expand to the US so we'll be seeing high end devices for cheap soon.

I got the s4, a little laggy but I might cop a 6t too, at the end of the day we text, call, listen to music and that's basically it. I don't play mad games on my phone.

All these specs for what? most these phones can last 2 to 3 years easily, with no need to spend money.

I got out the hype, I just want apple to get swiftkey, a file manager and a bigger screen, ditch itunes.

Android is cool but I might try the htc one m8 due to samsung lagging after a while.

Have you tried flashing "stock android" rom on your s4? It may hold you down a lot longer if you're not opposed to the idea.

Say brehs so my nexus 7 stopped charging about 8 months ago, i just got around to buyin a dock for it because i heard that's a fix, i put it on the dock for like 15 min and tried powering it up and it still not turning on. Has anybody ever left a device uncharged for a few months then tried to turn it on?

My gs4 kept saying no service threw it in a box and copped an htc one. Cant believe i slept on it, that premium feel and sense is so smooth compared to touchwiz. Im rocking with ViperOne 6.2.1 rom
