Of course, all signs point to Trump indefinitely postponing the election, so, lmao
actually the supreme court just set the precedent that he can't, with their wisconsin ruling not letting the governor push it back :ehh:

not that trump wont try to cheat other ways, but the election will happen nov 3. plus if social distancing is still a problem in 7 months, the election will be the least of this countrys problems

Part of this isn't true. If the Dems come out on top in November out to will be because Bernie supporters voted left.

And honestly they will deserve that credit. I don't think you can't publicly give them credit at that point.

I don't understand this post (literally).

Typos? :patrice:

Norfeast groovin…
To be honest, I think yall are underestimating how much success Progressives have had. Its a marathon, not a sprint.

Progressives have pretty successfully pushed the Democratic Party and its politicians far more left than they would be otherwise. The time for a Progressive nominee isn't now, but I think it will happen soon and within the framework of the Democratic Party. Just my opinion...

I disagree, Obama’s two terms weren’t all that progressive. Of course those eight years were an oasis when compared to Bush Jr and Trump, but what Biden does should he win the election will prove whether what you’re saying is true.

I personally think the establishment takes on a few palatable progressive positions in order to gain votes from that voting bloc and independents but don’t really plan on working on most of those things.

That's the key. Pretend to give a shyt about social issues, while staying similar with the Republicans on economic issues. That's why shyt won't change.

Typo...

I was just saying how Bernie and his supporters will deserve all the credit if Biden wins and that the public can't deny that no matter how hard they will try.
:skip: you think the people that hate Bernie supporters are going to credit Bernie supporters for Biden's win?

Your answer is fukking stupid. What good is it to win the independents if you lose the majority of democratic moderates in the process? I wasn’t voting for Bernie under any circumstance :mjlol:

Fair enough that you wouldn't vote for Bernie, don't hold it against people like me who won't vote for Biden. There may have been some moderate voters like you who would vote for Trump or stay home had Bernie won but there are also plenty of voters like me who will stay home for Biden's run. Let's see if Biden can win without us.

What stopped these voters from voting for Bernie in the primary?:jbhmm:

Closed primaries, I had to change my party affiliation to Democrat to vote in the primary in my state, which I didn't get a chance to do. Some of those voters might like Bernie but not be engaged enough to know the rules in their state to vote in the primary. That happened to me in 2016, I learned from that experience but the primary is over before my state is voting, so I changed my party affiliation back to independent today after Bernie dropped out.

Occupy started in 2011.

Obama and Biden were putting Social Security on the table with the GOP in 2013! Then you had congressional pushback led by people like Bernie, Liz, Boxer, etc. And then by 2015, you have Bernie running around talking about expanding it.

Supreme Court seat on the line, you gotta vote for Joe.. unfortunately

We are so close to a conservative 7-2 majority.

And with a narrow Senate majority and the filibuster nuked, we may be able to get more liberal justices because you only need 50 plus 1..
