I don't even think this ish is fair. Because when Bernie surrogates bring up anything about a candidate, it's considered mudslinging and proof that he's divisive. So the comments get dismissed and ignored by the media. But let any other candidate say "Socialism" once and we're gonna have a round of questions and responses for 10 minutes on a debate stage. While Bernie was under attack from all sides in that debate, I GUARANTEE that bringing up social security would have been called out as a low blow by Bernie and would have been stacked with the Warren drama to attack him. Pete, Warren or any other bringing it up would have been fine though.

Not exactly, Bernie's campaign isnt funded by Super Pacs which is a major difference. Plus his emphasis on relational organizing, targeting first time voters, and early engagement of latino voters is what got him where he is right now

Ron Paul was completely grassroots. 1st of its kind. Obama was the rest of the stuff you mentioned. Like I said, not all that legendary or revolutionary. Just very well done.

The people that constructed Bernie's 2016 ground up strategy already were tapped to share their approach by a number of campaigns according to an article by Grim (I think) a while back. Obama's did offer a facade similar to what Our Revolution is trying in terms of building a grassroots group of activists but there wasn't any follow through :yeshrug:

Mehdi “I’m to the left of Bernie” Hasan. Since sexism isn’t gonna stick, they’re run back 2016’s he’s secretly a racist lol. All the blue checks are hammering Bernie on this correct assessment and they disagree because they’re just Nancy Pelosi progressives at the end of the day.

My prediction is at the South Carolina debate is that they’re gonna really try railroad him on his “class reductionist” comments but ignore anything Biden has done.

After that will be, “two intelligence sources tell the Washington Post they’ve found 60 accounts on Twitter sowing discord between Bernie and Warren. They’ve also found Russian accounts retweeted Bernie and one staffer liked a Russian account posing as a Bernie fan. He must drop out”

Look at all those Bernie Bros.

:hhh:

This is why I'll never support this sexist pig. It's not even his policy positions I have a problem with. I actually support the idea of one day expanding health coverage if that's what you want to have. But I'm just so sick of his pack of internet sycophants, not to mention he NEVER has connected with the black community, which is why we would never fukk with him, as evidenced by these pictures.

Don't get me wrong, if by some miracle he were to actually win the nomination, I might have to hold my nose and vote for him. But man, I don't know. It would be hard trying to explain to future generations why I helped put a misogynistic anti-semite into office. White men have done enough damage to this country, we need to see a more diverse group of people in power.
