2 completely different races yes, i thought bernie could beat an untested, reality star show trump with zero political experience

then trump actually got the job, oversaw the country and hit a record high in the stock market and 3.5 percent unemployment. if you think america is throwing that out for a guy who calls himself a socialist, it's safe to say you dont know anything about this country

ive also admitted i was wrong in 2016, and after bernie lost i should have just supported hillary clinton im not trying to "convince" myself of anything. im looking at what's in front of my fukkin eyes this time around

This is something Bernie himself should have pointed out when he got asked about it. Imo, he’s been the most magnanimous of the candidates running and when you have a platform like his you can’t pull punches

why did it take being up against the wall to finally start seeing/admitting this? i know some of us go hard on bernie (bernie bros) from various petty angles, but in that, there has been plenty of real critique about his strategies and rhetoric that get dismissed as people just hating, not being real progressives, or simply wanting black people to be pandered to. you have to politick to be in politics, maybe his unyielding approach is what you all love about him, but you had to know there's a ceiling to that.

Can't speak for anyone else, but I knew that for Bernie the real solution was for him to bring in new voters into the primaries and somewhat keep it close. I never thought even when turning down the anti-establishment rhetoric that he was going to get a endorsement from the veteran black congresspersons.

If he had done more to reach out to our community and listen to the needs of poor black people and church ladies then Nazi's wouldn't be showing up with swatstikas to his rallies to intimidate and threaten people with racial slurs.......I guess?
