Sometimes, momentum overcomes fatigue. Logically, the Mariners should have lost tonight but instead stole game 1 on the road.

The reasons our team lost ? Over management : Schneider shouldn’t have pulled Gausman this early. Then after Springer’s solo home run in the bottom of the first inning, our bats couldn’t get hits, struggled to put the ball in play, couldn’t get runners on bases and produce hits with RISP. And Our bullpen collapsed under pressure.

Let’s hope the Jays regroup behind Yesavage, give him run support unlike tonight , and win tomorrow.
