The fact that Michael can drive never got to me as much as trying to wrap my mind around how he’s able to navigate without GPS/map.

So a dude who has been committed since he was six and locked up for 40 years after ‘78 is able to figure out cars that didn’t exist back when he was a kid, get onto the road and yield the right of way to other drivers, figure out blinking reds, get through construction, and check his blind spots in a mask with eyeholes in it before merging, and arrive in a timely fashion while finding parking on Halloween night?

Prep Time is a Beautiful Thing and Laurie Strode has the Proof.

Prep Time turned Laurie into T2 Sarah Connor against Michael Myers.

Great Movie.
I watched the very 1st 1 and kept it that way for Years. I never watched 2 and 3 because I had heard that they weren't as Good. I've watched bits and pieces of the 1s with LL Cool J and Busta Rhymes and I did not enjoy them like I enjoyed the 1st 1 by Carpenter. I also have to admit that the 1st 1 by Rob Zombie was Ok and so I never saw the 2nd 1 he did.
I'm Low Key Glad that I never did because waiting all that time really paid off. Thank Goodness that it was Good.:blessed:

That very question of how the fucck Michael can drive was asked in the original movie. So it's not like it wasn't ever addressed.... it's just nobody knows. In fact, a lot of things about Michael is ambiguous.

I see that the divide on this movie is between old heads and the newer generation. My older uncles took me to see the original as a younging and had me so legit shook of the boogey man that when i really saw william shatner on tv i almost passed out

:russ:

Like errbody saying The unknown is scarier than any explanation because u would know if your excluded. Freddy fukked with kids so if u graduated then bam u made it move on nikka but dont have kids and for jason just stay your ass away from crystal lake but this monster roaming freely blending in on halloween just spazzing and stabbing on any one is some evil shyt.

Hellfest bit halloweens whole steez as did other slasher films because it is the OG

To me this movie would have actually been scary if Mike was just going home just to go. Put a family life in jeopardy who has no idea who he is or his history. Make them have no idea of what is coming. Show Laurie seeing Mike escaped on the news. She goes after him and fukkery ensues.

They could have kept all that family shyt. It was dumb. That’s the shyt that should have been off screen.

Adding reasons to things just makes people feel less afraid. The minute you can understand something is the minute you can rationalize it and conquer it. But you can’t conquer the unknowable. Like in the strangers, they did what they did because those two were home. That’s it. No grand plan. They just did some foul shyt because they could

Michael Myers being random means he could come after me like he used to in my nightmares :lupe:

Giving him reason just means that I'm safe.
