25 minutes each but I can do 12.5 minutes per player too.

I'm busy for the next few days gentlemen, but I would love to play a couple of games with someone who also doesn't consider themselves particularly experienced or skilled at chess

Just playing I don't need that real smoke yet
I'm still a little slow in deciding where I wanna go,so I need to play against people getting back into the swing or beginners.
I beat the computer though in my first game back,nothing like taking all the pieces and having their king on the run with just your queen and your king

Thanks for your patience chess brehs. Verification took a while. We also had an issue with flakes as well as with one of the verified players being banned from theColi within the last month . But the bracket is finally done.

Matchups are based off of early availability. And the official tournament begins exactly two weeks from today on Nov. 2 2021. Of course, I apologize for the weird looking bracket. Its a side effect of having 12 competitors instead of an even 8 or 16.


So what is the format?

• Single match ups
• Rapid format with 10min increments for each player; and a game total of 20min.
• Games will be played over the course of two weeks from Nov2 -Nov16 2021.
• After games are played a link to the prior match will be posted in this thread for future viewers.

‘How will this all be coordinated?

• A discord will be created by the end of this week. Thanks to @buzzkill for the idea.
• I will also DM all participants both theColi name of their next opponent and their associated Chess.com ID.
  
• Dates of matchups will be based on your previously stated availability.
• The bracket will be updated shortly after a match is completed through the site “bracket hq” .
• This thread can also function as a meetup point and a spot to field new questions.

So what are First match schedules?


Tentative schedules are….

• Tues Nov. 2 2021. [ @Monsanto vs @Sukairain ]
• Wed Nov. 3 2021. [ @mattw1313 vs @19- ]
• Sat Nov. 6 2021 [ @KyokushinKarateMan vs @P90 ]
• Thurs. Nov 4 or Sat Nov 6 [ @charknicks vs @luciddreamer ] evening game.

• Future matchups will depend on the result of these four games so please stay posted. The first games for the rest will occur on the week of Nov8. This will effect @who_better_than_me , @Blackrogue , myself, and @buzzkill as a side effect of bracket design.
