shyt...Skyrim is one of my goats and i cant tell u much about the story there either. I put hundreds of hours in that and i dont think i ever officially "beat" the game.

Let's keep it real, there are good to great games that were rated in the 70s or lower (mad Max comes to mind.) But generally speaking, 78 is a bad score. For a game this big and anticipated, devs surely wanted a 85+. From day one tho, I told folks to not trust anything connected to BDO

Its getting destroyed.

5 bosses? Huge empty world with a bunch of meaningless reward shrines. A non existent story? Breakable weapons

The thinkpieces of that would be legendary.

Y'all pick and choose what games to get hyped about and buy day 1. Wukong was hyped around here and that game is an 81 on pc and 76 on ps5. After all that hype people were expecting 85+ and still hyped the game afterwards. I've seen Cronos New Dawn hyped on here as one of the best scary games ever and that game is in the 70s. Dragon Dogma 2 is an 86 and people were praising the game and then admitted afterwards the game is trash. Starfield is an 83 and is clowned on here.

There were a bunch of people coping saying the game was good on here until they admitted the game is trash. That game has an 86. I guarantee had that game had below 85 80s or 70s, they would have admitted the game was trash sooner. Plenty of other examples of games with below 85 80s scores and 70s score being hyped on here and bought day 1. Y'all pick and choose. Crimson Desert has an 80 on opencritic.

That's the reality with all reviews tho. Food bloggers, movies its all personal bias.

My personal scale is im only gonna Day 1 a game if i think its a potential 10/10 or a sequel to some piff. So for me anything outside of Saros, Tokon, Wolverine and GTA is wait and see for 2026
