think I'd be more inclined to give this a fair shake despite the reviews if it wasn't like 200 hours, especially with this year being as stacked as it is

Witcher 3 is an extraordinary game but RDR2 is just.
That game might just be Rockstar Magnus opus.

Isn’t the time solely for exploration, most of the reviews I have seen haven’t been specific in regards to the length of the bare to the bone campaign.

Lol the review circus for hyped games always kill me. People say "Oh but if it was ________ it would've been rated higher!" when we DO have examples like that where prestigious dev makes a game and it doesn't score high. Nintendo dropped Metroid Prime fukking 4, and it got a 78 on MC. Nobody was claiming reviewers were full of shyt or didn't play the game with the right mindset blah blah. Sony dropped the most flopped flop of all time and "Sony" didn't save it.
But when the games that are being hyped to heavens scores a 90 everybody like "See see!?? GOAT!!"
We gotta be real hyped games will always have this happen to them. If GTA 6 gets a 86 I'm already knowing there's something about it that just didn't hit. There's a difference between liking a game/enjoying it and not really liking a game with high critical reception. These are objectively good games, even with games I might feel are "overrated".
Let's stop playing man lol.

The first 20 hours of Dragon's Dogma was fire. The first time you see a troll try to go into town and get jumped by 30 villagers was peak gaming. fukk y'all

Game got completely assified by the time you start heading to the desert area m. It’s like that meme drawing of. Horse that ends in stick figure
First time getting chased by a dragon was thrilling
Not even 10 hours later I was one shotting even the legendary post game drsgond

Gonna spend my first 10 hours exploring and doing side quests to level up before I go into the main story

Metroid prime got a 78 because it was a absolutely dogshyt game that probs should have got a 60 but its nintendo so almost gets a 80. It was the rare example of something being so obviously shyt even nintendo stans and astroturfing couldnt assist.
