I was planning on spending 1k investing in Ethereum today but when I try to add my card I kept getting a failure message which come to find out the server is having issues, and now I gotta wait 24 hours due to me having to many attempts of wanting to add a card. Got me heated brehs.

i would hop on it ASAP. last month ETH was like $50? now it's almost $200

If there's a dip / flashcrash in ETH I will get in on that. I dunno how much money is ;eft to be made at the $160 level unless you're buying lie 10k worth

I'm sticking with what I know and keeping my money in btc. You should stick with what you know which appears to be awful music based on your avi. Open up a short position in Btc or you p*ssy and just trolling

Nah, I aint trying to short Bitcoin. I don't care about it like that.

I just like to point out how dumb it is. There is no debate that you can make (and lose) money with it. Thats a documented fact. But that doesn't take away from the stupidity of the very notion of trading it like a stock.

I married into money so I'm good....I aint trying to play this game

How so? Many times, "real stocks" gain value (value as defined as what you can sell it for) based on perception/public sentiment rather than any change in the business fundamentals. If "everybody thinks" a company listed on the NYSE is gonna get acquired by General Electric, or "everybody thinks" some new medicine is about to change the game, people will buy it because they expect the price to appreciate. if you got in on that super early, you will make alot of money *if you sell while the price is high (to appease the other trolls )* and if you are early to the bandwagon you can still scalp off a few bucks. How is this different? Even if 5 years from now the adoption of btc in the general 'real world' hasn't improved, if I bought something today for 2250 and in 5 years I can sell it for 7500, that is gonna end up as real money in my hand that I can buy things with

You guys are going to get absolutely wrecked. People were saying the same about Litecoin back in 2013 when Bitcoin was bubbling. Ethereum hasn't had it's first bubble crash yet. Don't be left holding the bags.

I don't promote any get rich quick scheme. Bitcoin is a long term play with a strong investment thesis. Ethereum is vaporware and is not sustainable long term. Nothing of value has been created on this platform and no one uses it on a daily basis like they do with Bitcoin. You may very well be lucky and make out with nice profits, but there is no free lunch and soon as everyone think they're going bank (like the last few poster seem to) then you know people are going to get hurt.

On a long enough time frame, Bitcoin still has 10x-100x upside but that requires patience. Invest wisely.
