first things first i'm a noob
so this is noob advice
the OGs in this thread put me onto Coinbase

there is other ways but this seems to be one of the easier ways
your going to have to give your full government info so be prepared for that
once you get a account, you have to send money to it
you can do this by credit card,debit card or bank transfer
each one has different times it takes for funds to post to your account
they also have different fees for the method you use
watch the fees them shyts add up quick
on coinbase you can buy three types of crypto currency Bitcoin, Ethereum,and Litecoin :nku324:
any other coins must be bought off a exchange like Bittrex
