It's eerie how two shows airing at the same time both have heavy themes centered on determinism.
Is free will an illusion like Devs and Westworld suggest? The answer may horrify you
I still don't know if I believe that Lily actually made a choice at the end. Forest had finally come around to accepting Lyndon's many worlds simulation. How do we know if Lily throwing away the gun wasn't what was always going to happen in this particular world while her killing Forest was what happened in the other world simulations? I'm all for more miniseries with defined beginnings and endings as opposed to waiting to see the reception and making more for the fukk of it. Watchmen, ZeroZeroZero, and Devs show that quality is truly better than quantity. Too many people ask for more only to be the first ones to claim a show has "fallen off".
And like @FlyRy said, crown Alex Garland right now. He was the reason I had this on my radar and he's an easy 3 for 3 of straight sci-fi piff
Plus he's done something his genius contemporaries early in their career haven't and that's hit it out of the park on both the big screen and television.

I liked it. Interesting concept. So parallel to Westworld season 3.
Coulda been a movie though. 2/2.5 hours tops is all they needed to tell this story.

I like this show.... like I really do.
And I know the coli who never took an acting class and ain’t directors, so I won’t go that direction and criticize her when I’m not in that field.
But I will say this..... cuz I believe it’s more than one person that has to approve this shyt.
I don’t really like some of the “choices” the girl that plays Lily went with when she was shooting this.
It’s really hard to sympathize or get behind her character
