Of course we do but Drake has never portrayed himself as that type of rapper in the Kanye/Dr. Dre lane. He called himself a Legend and considers himself to be one of the greatest RAPPERS of his generation, most of it being because of his songwriting ability. When you have a nikka who is literally flowing over the track with the same cadence, melody, and lines that Drake used (i.e 'my ex asked me where you moving, I said on to better things') which was one of his most popular lines on the mixtape. If you're telling me another nikka wrote, that shyts weak. That means it's possible nikkas have wrote a lot of other shyt for him too. Came up with multiple flows and concepts for him.. who the hell knows. Now nikkas want to say he's an "Artist" when he always claims to be the greatest rapper out....

I hear exactly what you and others saying in here breh, believe me. I'm not even opposed to what you saying. I'm just not as vested into this shyt as others. I fucc with Drake but in no way did I ever think personally or believe that he was "the greatest rapper out" even if he was the one boasting it. I just fucc with his music period. Now, some artists I fucc with, if someone would have came out and said the same shyt about them....I would feel different, I guess stronger about it. So I guess I just don't hold new age 2009 rapper "Drake" to the same "standard" or morals or whatever I hold others too. shyt is strange? For sure. But Drake didn't make me fall in love with Hip Hop breh. Even though I'm one of those "rare" booth posters who does fucc with him but also fuccs with underground old school Cali shyt, boom bap classic shyt, etc, even though I have that versatility with Hip Hop and I appreciate different facets for different reasons, I guess it just comes down to simple shyt....like I've never memorized his verses to spit out loud or to compare to other favorites verses to see what went harder. I guess Drake just always been my (in the MOST simple, ignant way of putting it ever possible) "get money, chill with hoes, party, pop" whatever have you artist. Nothing more, nothing less. Just felt he did his lane good. I ain't never looked at him like others do so I guess I just ain't that vested breh. But I feel why others are. Part of his lane is saying "I kill everything an I did it on my own, just me and my day 1s" yeah breh lol I see why the hate.
