Question for the populace: when did y'all fall in love with the show and why?
I ask cuz I'm seeing all these "idc about Cersei/the iron throne" posts. I fell in love with the show mid-season 1, and it was primarily due to the treachery surrounding King's Landing. The White Walkers were an afterthought at that point. The iron throne being the end game for the show called Game of Thrones makes perfect sense to me. The Night King may have been the bigger threat to the realm, but the throne is the bigger piece to this story.
The show started off with zombies (I remember being confused when I started watching). Also the tag line has been “winter is coming” forever. Do you see why this is confusing?
And this is coming from someone who enjoys the political stuff as well.

unforgivable pandering
Prime Tyrion and LF in the early seasons were also quite compelling and entertaining. Later on it was Olenna because she reminds me of my grandma. Same personality/archetype.
All these new nikkas knowing my weekly AMC fix now.
