Delta and Amazon alone paid $0 in income taxes and got a combined $250M in tax rebates. The only people really getting free $ are the corporations and super wealthy.

To be fair, my mom works for Delta and during normal times the employees get a lot of crazy perks. I can’t imagine Amazon doing any of the shyt Delta does for their employees. Not to excuse the corporate favoritism being shown by govt but at least they pass the blessings on to the people that work for em.

That would be typical democrat overkill. To just give everyone 2k a month. Even tho some of those ppl are working.

If you, hypothetically, have an administration willing to actually combat the virus head-on, you’re going to need to

A) Give people money to survive
B) Create jobs where you can
C) Give others money to spend

It’s that simple. It’s not overkill because most Americans will think it’s just a handout and will burn it up with a week of having it, and that’s exactly what you want it to do.

There will be shutdowns of areas and spikes of cases despite the vaccination process and efforts of possibly competent administration because it’s way behind schedule.

This is what grown folk that pay taxes call dumb kid that doesn't understand money trying to be funny while begging for handouts on the internet...

You sound like a fool, you keep throwing out the $75K number as if its based on anything at all. Its just a number. Someone living in San Francisco making $100K is no less deserving of $2K than someone making $75K in Starksville MS. Its more than enough money to make that happen in the budget if you cut other shyt that actually needs to be looked at. But nope, thats too hard, its much easier to pretend like people making $100k a year are part of the rich elite class and not everyday middle class people like everyone else.

Nate Silver taking a victory lap on Twitter like 538 didn't have Biden winning 350 EVs, Dems picking up Maine + NC in the Senate and also winning 240 seats in the House :martin:
Do be fair, the only states they projected wrong in the presidential race were Florida and North Carolina. And they said the margins were so thin that even just a normal-sized polling error would erase both of those plus Georgia and Arizona and make Biden's victory dependent on winning Pennsylvania by 1.7%.

Said the most likely Senate outcome for Dems was 51 seats, but that the 80% range was between 48 seats and 55 seats. 3/4 chance of Democrats getting control and 1/4 chance of Republicans maintaining control.

Maine was just a 59% chance so that's damn near 50-50. North Carolina was a bit worse, he had that at 68%, but that's still closer to 50-50 than to a sure thing. That's what y'all got to understand about statistical predictions - if he predicts 59% and is right every time then it's actually a BAD prediction, cause that shows it should have been 99%. When he predicts 59%, you really got to believe that it will only go that way 3 in 5 times.

To tell you the truth, the #1 state I'm pissed about is Wisconsin (and to a lesser extent Michigan). How the fukk were they so close? What was going on there?
