I originally found out about it by chance because of france24 maybe a few days before the President resigned I think they get most of their material from AFP.
I would see what The Atlantic and the NYT have to start.

I can easily find posts on that sub right now on racial issues based on these protesters from white people but that does nothing to invalidate the info in that thread.

Look, in one of the first threads I posted in on this site I compiled a list of threads that were racist from Reddit, i'm no fan of it and like I said in this thread clearly these people don't want to give any legitimacy to the grievances hence how they're only focusing on the abuse of the journalists and trying to call out double standards, plus I could find posts in that thread and on the subs and route them here that I disagree with, and I know that Missouri can't be a healthy racial environment.
I'm just trying to give more info/perspective and that link has more legit info.
