Some Israelis have welcomed the strikes launched by the United States on Iran overnight, which targeted nuclear sites.
“First of all, we are thankful,” Daniela Fischer, a 60-year-old psychotherapist from Tel Aviv, told Reuters.
She said people in Israel appreciated that US President Donald Trump was “keeping his promise to keep Israel safe” from Iran, adding: “We know that they have very negative intentions towards the world, but we hope very much that it won’t escalate and start a more aggressive war.”
Jerusalem resident Carol Avishay was similarly positive about the developments. “I’m for it. Go for it, Trump,” she said. “Thanks for helping us. Thanks for being next to us.”
She continued, “And I’m so glad it was earlier than two weeks,” referencing the two-week deadline Trump had set himself to decide on whether to join Israel’s military campaign. “Otherwise, we would be suffering.”
However, Avishay was also cautious about any potential Iranian retaliation, saying it could be “rough.”
“We have to be very careful, very alert,” she added.

Research all of these countries we or Europe have issues with. Propaganda goes both ways. A lot of what we are taught in school is the same shyt we accuse other countries of doing.
