People really toon into these exhibition fights?
I don't care what anyone says
People can frame it as "Oh Tank just lost his passion". What really happened was that the Lamont Roach fight spooked him. To get a "Draw" (which was really a clear loss on his record) against Roach made him scared that his money train with Boxing could come to an end. It was almost like the Wizard of Oz moment when you saw the Wizard behind the curtain. Roach exposed all of Tank's flaws in the ring, and gave everyone game tape on how to attack him
Can you imagine if he lost twice in a row against Roach in a rematch against a guy who he was HIGHLY favored to win against? All that future money potential goes down the drain. This is the main reason why he ducked the rematch and now going full throttle into being a non-serious Youtube Boxer
who are these people that take Jake Paul serious?Jake Paul is basically finessing black fighters for a quick lick. And nobody cares, including the fighters because they’re making money as well.
But they’re legitimizing this clown who never fights legit contenders to even be ranked. At the end of the day titles, belts, p4p and legacy went out the door years ago.
And I partially blame Floyd Mayweather who started this trend.
Wrestling has morphed into celebrity boxing.
If anybody has sparred someone 40kg lighter than them, then they know how utterly stupid this fight is.
