An accurate review of Nas disco. Rare enough

There's this thing Nas and his recording engineer(s) have been doing since King’s Disease , where he’ll lay down multiple takes, and the engineer ends up stitching them together. You can clearly hear it: different volume levels, vocal inflections, even shifts in energy, like it’s a totally different take dropped into the verse. Or it might be that shyt that Lil' Wayne does. Record, stop, record, hear it back, record, stop, take it back, record.
For example, on this track, the line “And that rings loud, and reverberates” sounds spliced in. The volume and tone of his voice noticeably shift. And there are several moments like that throughout the verse. It just ends up sounding disjointed.
Y'all stans tell his team that.

Nah, can’t co-sign. He rapping as good as 2012. Put The Truth on and tell me I’m lying.
Nah you right, not always - but often and noticably on KD1, I felt like that was really him warming up again and then it was less on the following albums. I hear it more on the KD albums than the Magic ones, which makes sense as the KD albums were more curated and Magics were more freestyle/raw.That's cool. Get your rocks off
I'm not trying to disrespect the brother. He's my favorite rapper.
I'm obviously a fan or I wouldn't have noticed, right?
So it's either true or I'm hearing something that's not there.

on first listen I may have agreed, overall no LIG is way more timeless, LIG is best Nas album post 02He’s making better songs too
I might be alone, but I prefer KD2,KD3 & Magic over Life is Good,
At times I feel like I can hear what you're sayingThat's cool. Get your rocks off

I hear what u saying. I think this is part of why I feel like he was sharper in 2012 vs now. I don't hear it much on KD3 or the Magic albums at all tho. That's cool. Get your rocks off

Find Ya Wealth is a top 10-15 Nas track for me, I regularly play that.He dismissed fire from QB's finest tho. Self Conscience, Find Ya Wealth, Street Glory etc etc are some of Nas' most underrated records.
Shame on all y’all who was listing your Top 10+ for the Hitboy run and leaving this off all of em,
