My only thing is. Cool, he fukked up with a freestyle.. he could have still did a song on his next album. He had the opportunity.. instead, he chose to say he got his mojo back and for us to behave.. that album was ass compared to stillmatic too.
Outside of industry type platforms and people I've noticed the same, the regular people overwhelmingly hold Nas in higher regard than Jay-z, check the comment section on almost any hip hop post on any social media source regarding the 2.I'm noticing a shift in the audience where they ain't just letting people lie and cop pleas for Jay anymore. Maybe it's because Jay ain't been active in a while but the audience is def starting to shift in Nas' direction more lately.
People have definitely shifted. Because Jay is the only MC that doesn’t need to upgrade their catalogue and still automatically gets put at 1. Jay has some extreme highs but lows are absolutely never talked about. Every low point Nas has gets highlighted times 10.I'm noticing a shift in the audience where they ain't just letting people lie and cop pleas for Jay anymore. My cousin was a jay z stan, it was hilarious seeing the reaction to BP2 in real timeMy only thing is. Cool, he fukked up with a freestyle.. he could have still did a song on his next album. I feel so vindicated never for a second pretending I liked Fivio or his verse on "Spicy" or none of that just because he linked with Nas, I said that verse was TERRIBLE repeatedly, it's the worst part of the album. ***shakes own hand, exits thread***
I feel he brought a certain swag to it. Look I wouldn't be mad at him if I didn't know he was flat out lying on Jim podcast. Like. I know for a fact in his age group. They was doing I Can for middle school and elementary graduations n shyt. I'm from Brooklyn I know this for a FACT man. Lol.I feel so vindicated never for a second pretending I liked Fivio or his verse on "Spicy" or none of that just because he linked with Nas, I said that verse was TERRIBLE repeatedly, it's the worst part of the album. ***shakes own hand, exits thread***

There is definitely a section of that but even musically, I’ve seen people have a shifted in how he constantly covered by the hip hop media. There's definitely an increase in Hov hate from weirdos who think Roc Nation is the Illuminati. Honestly I think we're at a point where a very large group of people don't view Hov as a rapper anymore. They've never listened to his shyt and think he's just a boogey man figure who antagonizes certain people (Nicki, Tory Lanez, etc) lmao. Real weird shyt from weird people.
I need Nas to ether the industry one more damn time. Go at these rapper, media, critics, fake fans, podcasters and drop it as a loosie a few weeks before the album drops. Go get a dark hard hitting beat from havoc and snap off.
