I might not have to but what if I want to? It is apart of the game right? And it may slow those guys down, but they still got the money boost to 88. I ain't with it. If it works for you cool. I didn't say you had to feel like I feel but I don't like it so I don't fukk with it. I'm going with Live. And miss me with that "you must not be good enough" bullshyt. That argument is older and lamer than any other argument you are claiming other people are using. Any time anyone critiques a sports game you got fanboys running in talm'bout how they must just suck at the game. That right there is a huge reason why these games start to get stale. Dialogue just gets shut down because fanboys try and explain every criticism away.

Anytime you offer criticisms of a sports game here these dudes always default to, "you must be shytty" or "you need to get better."

Like in Madden that pop up animation would happen entirely too often. And brehs would always say stop throwing into coverage. And I'm like BREH, even if I was, I know basic goddamn physics and I know a DB barely getting a finger on the ball isn't gonna deflect it straight up into the air for 5 seconds. nikkas lose their minds here over their favorite sports games. It's wild.

finally getting around to playing this. I like the street ball angle but thats about it. The animations, the defense, the offense and just the overall dated look of this game makes it boring. I thought 17 shot meter was ass but this and the amount of steals that occur ...Also the camera angles are ass for this. I use 2k angle myself and nothing equates to that on here. This is a 25 dollar game frfr

I played the game yesterday and seen no difference in the gameplay.

It looks a bit dated but this feels more like 2k11 than any 2k since. Steals happen a lot when you force passes and don't understand angles. If you try to pass to a person in the post, you better be at the proper angle.

The game gets a lot better the more you understand it.

Also, I'm getting it on Xbox. Game is WAY more fun when you play with smart players, the pro am is gonna be dope. Learning your archetype matters too.

breh, its like you can tell how your game is going to go in the first 2 or 3 possessions if you got people on your team with low bball iq. I don't know how many times I've been dunked on cause folks ain't on there defensive match up and I'm guarding Bron, Porzingas, and Embiid by myself in the post. Lets not even get into the offense when you on a bad team....dudes thinking they Kobe with a 74 rating.

This game legit feels like real basketball in some ways that 2K hasn't nailed. Constantly reaching is punished hardly and your bigs will take the brunt of that on drives. Bigs punish smaller players in the paint (Like they should) but bigs also get roasted on the perimeter.

Contesting shots is almost always better when you're out of position. Trying to block shot takes very good timing but also leaves you out of position to rebound and won't bother shots if you do it haphazardly.

The AI is smart. Them nikkas will punish you for going 4-5 every single possession

Yea bruh, I feel the same way. 2K17 is COMPLETELY different game than it was at release. The CPU AI went from worse ever for 2K to the best ever in 2K, I just started a My League a week ago and shyt has been dope as fukk. They move the ball well in half court, stars isolate or use picks better than ever, THEY ACTUALLY SHOOT OFF THE DRIBBLE FROM MID RANGE AND FROM 3, and they don't force dumbass passes anymore.


Live 18 is a solid game so far, but it need A LOT of work. Its too easy to score in the paint and from the perimeter for one. Um sure they can tweak that sooner or later. No, I'm not buying this shyt, but its far from a horrible game.

It's mich better now. That said, I like having options. The whole reason I got Live and 2k back in the days was because I like options.

shyt I was playing defense and the ball handler was at the corner three point spot and my player animation participated a possible pass by switch his stance and arms from top of key. Major detail that's not in 2k

Contesting shots is holding up on the right stick and it helps A LOT. Contesting shots is probably the best thing you can do unless you coming off the weak side for a block after some decent defense or you got proper positioning for a block. Game rewards positioning like CRAZY.

Dudes can dunk on people if they get momentum and open lane.

I don't really see how setting picks is that different from 2K. You hold a button and they come set a pick. I think the positioning is better in this game and picks are FAR less broken than 2K brick wall bullshyt.

I've legitimately never seen a big CPU rip a CPU guard when I was playing but sorry.

Defense is a lot more fun and harder when you go against good players. It rewards positioning and reaction over random animations.

The game really shines in the 5 on 5 human play more than anything. This shyt seems perfect for cats like me who only play 2K for pro-am.
