Is "American Hustle" that good? I still haven't given it a chance and I like David O Russell but I feel like they are showering him with Nods cause he lost with "The Figther" and "Silver Lining Playbook". I'm happy for Leo for "Wolf". If 12 years doesn't get actor, I want Leo to finally win.

I think its dope. I know a lot of cats on here don't but a lot do.

If J Law wins another Oscar, then it's clear she's the young Meryl Streep of Hollywood:ld:

I wonder how Zoe feel about her girl getting AWLL the spotlight:takedat:

Tom got snubbed cause he's Tom, he's a Legend. He's been nominated a trillion times and won Back to Back Oscar. I think they got Best Actor right, all those guys put in work and are waiting to get that Oscar except Christian who just got an Oscar for "The Fighter".

Of course but I can see them going straigh Bullock and McCongahey. I hate people saying "I didn't know Matt was a good actor!!!" If you were born before 2000 you already saw his early work which was on level with Damon, Pitt, etc.

Matthew is overdue too but he never get's his credit cause honestly he sometimes plays in movies where he gets outshine. Sam killed him and Sandra in "A Time to Kill". Jody Foster killed him in "Contact" but Matthew is the man and is a really amazing actor to me. But I think it's between Leo and Chiwetal. Leo lost to Jamie Foxx too for "The Avator" I really wonder is this Leo time and he win an Oscar for "Wolf" like Michael Douglus won for "Wall St.".

Inside Llewyn Davis got the biggest snub IMO.

Best actor category was pretty crowded but I thought Hanks and Robert Redford were deserving

Also no nomination for 12 years a slave in the cinematography category? :what:

I honestly feel Leo gets this. Apart from them "owing" him one, he commands that movie so much and all of it is on his shoulders, not to say the other lead actors didn't share that responsibility but I feel like he and maybe Ejiofor had the most to do in their movies and its like what else does Leo need to do?

True. I had him over Sam in A Time to Kill but I can see the other way. I think it was all those romcoms from the mid 2000s while Clooney, Damon were being serious and winning oscars. I hate how people slight him when Affleck fell off worse, and guys like Brendan Fraser and Josh Hartnett are non factors from the same era,
