I work at a local hospital right now as a clinical support worker. I want to study radiography Insh'Allah.

I don't know if I should workout before breaking fast this year, last year I passed out at the gym, super embarrassing lol. the worst part was I had to break my fast, I almost wanted to tell the people helping me NO when they offered me water

hardest thing for me to do during this month is give up the gangsta rap music I’m used to listening whenever I take a ride from and to work and anywhere basically. not going to debate whether music is haram or halal and idk about y’all but I’m not gonna keep bumping Yo Gotti screaming Cocaine Muzik all over the mixtape, Prodigy & Alchemist debating a 1000 way to kill people and Z-Ro warning us about how ''promiscuous women'' ain’t worth nothing. listening to this while fasting is obviously not done.

second thing is checking out dimes at work, in the streets. its hard when you know they’re checking you out too. starghfoullah. I understand why some countries keep men and women separate in restaurants, malls, ...


I’m a believer and its all mental so I’ll be allright though. its the perfect month to correct these things.

I’m half mauritanian. Its a 100% muslim nation and an islamic republic so ofc less temptations than Europe or USA. ramadan just like everywhere else in the islamic world. probably not too different than in somalia (i recall thats where you are from).
