Your uncle is correct. Is he a Muslim? And, yes since its about to be summer the sun doesnt set until 8:30 so you'll most likely be fasting until then but the time to end your fast wont be the same. Everyday it'll go down by a minute. Anyways, if you're serious about observing Ramadan then I suggest you go to one of your local mosques and ask them for a calendar with a time sheet on it telling you what time to eat suhoor, what time to begin your fast and what time to end it. Just for clarification, I hope that people know that fasting starts at the beginning of Fajr, starts at dawn not sunrise.

My entire fast last year was invalidated because I was fasting at sunrise, 2 hours later.

but honestly it isn't bad as i thought. i usually eat once a day or during an 8 hr window as is. its called interval fasting i read terry crews and the expendables cast does it. i'm in school so the time flies by and i work 3 rd shift i even deleted all the porn off my computer and erased all the bookmarks meditating more may the most high bless all of you i'm 36 its time i got my act right things that happened aren't over night or by chance they are the result of my choices even things i thought i got away with i just pray that its received and things get better ameen
