:lawd: Really everything you could ask for. If you love basketball you are in the mecca. If you love outdoors, beaches and mountains available. If you want to travel hit 95 and be anywhere within a day.
Too many people overlook those places with a 200K-500K population. It really is a nice feeling to live in a generally cheaper place to live, buy some property, live of ONE paycheck

keep me posted holmes, mothafukkas here used to payin 1600$ a month for rent and thats a "good" deal :damn:

SF is the 2nd most expensive place to live after manhattan. FML.

Will do. I'm helping a soon to be retired co-worker look for properties in the Carribean. This guy can fix almost anything and basically built his house over the years with so many additions. Anyways he'll have about $1700 a month to live on and he has around 300K saved up. He's trying to talk his wife into it but she doesn't want to live in a "foreign country" :beli:..He found a place on 2 acres for 74K. It needs some work but if anyone could do it's him. I straight up told him if he built a $150K house on 2 acres in the Carribean, the potential resale value is :damn:. It would shut his wife up for good.

I love real-estate man. All about the potential.

I agree. If your career is transferable why not give it a shot? You can spend 5 years in the South and go from renting to owning very easily. And like I said for black Americans these areas are where you will see a decent black middle class with many small business owners. People really help each other out down here if you come correct.

im looking at houses right now in nyc, a single family 1200 sq ft house will run you at least 500k in a decent neighborhood in queens or brooklyn with the house in good condition and that's being generous. Most houses I've seen so far in the 500-600k price range are about 1100 sq ft, some dont even have a driveway or back yard

Not much in the way of cultural events and stuff like that down there in the souf but these prices are demonic
@MikeBrownsJob Can we get a look at what 400-600 brings?

I know your from Toronto and are used to seeing a lot of diversity. Even though I hate Florida it does offer a lot in cultural events. I'm not so sure about strictly Somalian events but there are people from everywhere down there. UCF has like 50K students and of course Orlando is Carribean deep out there. Puerto Ricans, Brazilians, Cubans and Indians in the Orlando area.
