I can't help but wonder what B Magic would do in this format

He's able to punch back2back with ease

And he has no problem coming out the gate bussin

that nygga would probably be stumbling all over the place like everyone else. That's the only issue I have with Bmagic in the house

Regardless of how I feel about these battle rappers, in this format, you either choose guys that can freestyle at a high level (Dizaster, DNA, Charlie Clips, Hollow, Big Kannon etc)

or proven professionals that always have bars & need very little prep time (Arsonal, Trex, JC maybe).

You want guys that can get through their rounds clean. The show has been very entertaining even with the chokes though.

Jc be takin too long to get to the punch sometimes too, he's more efficient when he got a full round to cook imo

I HATE Arsonal (he just spits filler for days imo) but this battle with Day shows me he's better suited for short rounds like back when I still fukked with his battles in Fightklub.

Rex is highly over-rated imo but his delivery and performance just works in this format.

As long as Bmagic doesn't stumble he'll be fine, just remember a stumble in a 90 second is an automatic loss. 90 seconds is not enough time to clearly beat someone (unless an opponent was absolutely awful). He's just not reliable enough for me to believe he won't stumble.


I'm not an Arsonal fan at all, but the main thing I took from this battle is that he can go when he's motivated. We're talking about a guy that takes a million battles a year. Guys like Charlie Clips, DNA, Arsonal, etc develop this predictable formula & go around & get paid for it. In this Slaughter tournament, you can tell Arsonal really wanted that shyt. He was really trying to win that shyt. I can't remember that last time I've seen that type of fire in him.

although i would want the episodes to be an hour long i understand why they dont do that

these aint some reality tv hoes who create fake drama and beef to get attention, so i can imagine they were mostly havin regular ass convos in the house, now that shyt might be dope for us to see cuz we're legit fans of these nikkas, i can see how that wouldn't make for the most interesting tv for the casual eminem/slaughterhouse fan who might stumble across the show on top of that these nikkas prolly been on edge when they were preparing, they aint tryna talk in that bytch

Even though Math slipped I still liked his rd better than diz. Diz be talking about a whole lot of nothing.

Fukk this format. It's robbing the fans of good quality battles to adjust to tv time constraints

It sounded like Diz was pretty prepared to me. that slip up was too long for Math, but he had some dope shyt. Ars vs Daylyt was close. That's where the 90 seconds limit hurts cause you gotta pick a winner based off a couple stand out lines if both dudes bring their A game.

Math had good bars, he deserved to lose but I'm happy to hear him spitting some hot shyt again. Diz was entertaining but he's got to stop faking like he's coming off the head. He clearly asked to get his last bars out when they called time.
The Ars v Day decision was weird, I though Ars did enough to win. If anything I would have expected a couple tie votes and one or two votes for Ars. Ah well.
