crixus went out like a champ, he used no battle tactics whatsoever, goes up the coast of Italy defeating Romans but not equiping his army with roman armor and weapons, plus he could added the slaves of the defeated towns to his cause. Biggest error was leading that attack downhill when they held the higher ground, they could keep setting them on fire and let them burn in an attempt to gain control of the hill, less costly than a charge. Also when Marcus had them trapped they should have gone directly to rome forcing Marcus to push his already tired troops in an effort to save Roman lives and profit from any fires the rebels would have set.

I have questions.

First off...tried to watch what I thought was the first episode of this series (red serpent)...but I'm not sure its even the first episode..I'm confused. I have uverse and tried watching it on demand...but the way they have the episodes listed is confusing as hell.

They have its like "101....102....103"...I assumed that meant season one episode 1....season 1 episode 2 and so on.

I scroll up though and I see "ep1....ep2....ep3".....which one is the very first season?

I know the "101" episode title is called red serpent.

Ep1 episode is called something else...I'm confused

I watched about 20 minutes of episode 101 and maybe its just me...but the show seems waaaaauy weaker than game of thrones as far as acting and realistic visuals. Seems like the quality of acting and blue screen graphics is WAAAY better in game of thrones...won't lie the first ep I saw turned me off based on that and the acting.

I want to watch more because I know the first episode isn't probably a good judgment of the entire show but I gotta say it seems pretty weak to me. The gore is a lot more graphic though lol.

First I gotta know if I'm even watching the right episodes to start from the very beginning....somebody let me know.

most first episdoes of shows arent that great breh, but it gets better i watched the first season in like 2 days, the lsat episode of season 1 kill them all is one of the best hours i had in my life watching tv.

The show debut is Spartacus: Blood and Sand. First episode is titled The Red Serpent.

After that season it's a prequel season named Gods of the Arena (events before Blood and Sand).

Season 2 is Vengeance

Season 3 (currently airing) is War of The Damned.

Lots of GoT haters in the thread so don't try to engage them in a convo about it.

Can't even front. The first couple episodes of Spartacus were pretty bad. I remember the threads back on the hamster being really until the middle part where it picked up than by the end of the season nikkas was fienin for that crack.
