Nah, look at the goons on Romes side now, you got Marcus and young Caesar both smart and think long term, in the past you had a hot head like Glaber and a fake boss Batty who would be sonned to death by this crew now. Spartacus would need 20k more men plus supplies and a years time to train his group, not to mention an alliance with one of Romes enemies for back-up. Just happy to see do as much damage before his crew get stomped out.

i never even thought about it, but damn... Batty in the senate?? he was not anywhere close to EVER being that large. he really was living a pipe dream like everyone tried to tell him.

Spartacus creator, Steven S. DeKnight has an idea for an original series that will be like "Band of Brothers meets Halo" called Incursion. Sounds interesting.

Robert Tapert was the man behind the Julius Caesar spin off idea. I'm not sure which one will come first Caesar or Incursion.

A starship troopers-like TV series might be an interesting idea with the Spartacus type violence an nudity...it'll come down to the writing if it'll be worth watching or not.

I like that idea. Yeah, something like that would need top notch writing to survive a few seasons. Can't have dudes just shooting bugs/aliens.

If they aren't going to show Spartacus die, I'd rather they leave his fate ambiguous than to show him riding off into the sunset. He is fighting so hard for the cause, has lost many that he cares about to it. Even if/when he gets his ass handed to him, I can't see him fleeing to parts unknown with his tail between his legs. He would rather die in a losing battle than run away like a coward. And I expect nothing but the former or an ambiguous end to him when the show comes to a close. Anything other than that will IMO undermine the legend that is Spartacus.
