I'd say the two hardest parts are:

-the Pittsburgh area with Ellie sniping
-the fight with Ellie & David (before you go back to the deer)

^ Cuz you HAVE to kill everyone here and can't sneak through or use other tactics

cool. I finished the Pittsburgh Ellie sniping part, so just got that final ellie and david fight.

Playing on Grounded. I went into a cut scene injured after taking a hit from a runner but after the cut scene, Joel was walking fine.
Does health regenerate after a cut scene or something?

No you're not, but you will want to buy the Left Behind single player DLC which is included in the ps4 version.
