Now that I'm level 11, with a nice black market Uzi, the side missions are fun. I only do the story missions with my squad though. Those are too hard to solo. This is the first online only game I really enjoy (could never get into destiny, even though I have the Taken King edition)

I normally game alone (I like doing shyt on my own), but this game is so fun with your friends. Glad I preordered it. Even bought the season pass too :obama:

You want to deconstruct so that youll have a large stockpile of materials to craft high end items late game.

I would also recommend checking out skill up, and arekkz gaming youtube channel.

They give some good info.

So even though I have a ton of green materials, just keep deconstructing? I'll try to find their channels. Thanks.

If you had to choose 1 out of the three, which one?

I don't play shooters enough to warrant 3 games. I Hardly play r6 or black ops now. So 1 shooter is enough

On the way to 30 pick up everything and dismantle it for crafting materials for when you hit 30. Don't really worry about gear while leveling because it won't mean shyt once you hit 30. Just get what you need for your current level and keep it moving.

Smgs are better than assault rifles in most circumstances just find an extended mag with preferably weapon damage or crit chance as the other stat.

Health isn't really that important of a stat. Enemies tear through you fairly quickly regardless of your health. Damage mitigation from the armor stat only seems to have a noticeable effect against other players. Just try to get around 45-50k health and put the rest into your other 2 skills depending on what role you're trying to play for your group.

Purples drop like candy in the dark zone so don't worry about extracting blues or greens once you get there

That's about all I can think about off the top of my head for now.

Cheers for this, stats improved big time. Ignored blues and greens in DZ.

Was like Purple Reign in there lol

I am so green when it comes to RPG's.

DPS vs DMG
Rolls
Deconstructing vs Selling
Which equipment is best

For example - I am a level 16 and had a blue body armor 101 arm. My health before being equipped was listed at 8,123. If equipped it showed in green that it jump up to 10604. I equip the armor and my health only goes up 51 points to 8,174. What?!?

Deconstruction vs selling - I have deconstructed all white items and pretty much all green. I just now started selling items because this was my deconstruction numbers

· Fabric - 232 green 5 blue
· Weapon Parts – 117 green 6 blue
· Tools - 58 green 9 blue
· Electronics – 47 green 23 blue
· Division Tech – 1 green 2 blue

I believe I have the icons correct. So it seems I have a lot of crafting material and spent the last few hours of game time yesterday selling and went from $15k in cash to $22k in cash. Just not sure if selling now should be the route or continue to deconstruct.

Any tips you guys can share with a guy with not much RPG experience would be greatly appreciated.

BTW I love this game. 1 day and 12 hours played so far.

DPS is the maximum damage output per second

DMG is the damage the weapon does per bullet

For example, assume an assault rifle might do 10 DAMAGE per shot and take 10 seconds to empty a 20 round mag, and 5 to reload. = 13.33 DPS

A slug shotgun may fire 8 shots at 30 per DAMAGE each. Say it takes 8 seconds to empty it and 8 seconds to reload. = 13.33 DPS

So whilst the Slug Shotgun will do much more DAMAGE per shot, over the course of a fight, the DPS will be the same.

A shotgun will be great for taking out a low health enemy quickly, but if you miss a shot, you lose a greater amount of potential killing power, whilst an assault rifle might not get that enemy down as quickly, a miss isn't as threatening.
