No I wouldn't consider it "brave" for him to take that stance. There's a willing and growing audience for it within his target demographic, so I don't think he's necessarily losing net business by speak out against Israel. I'm sure there's some personal headache he'll get by burning his former cohort like Hannity and Levin and Murdoch, and Adelson could cause him some trouble, but I think he'll probably be just fine. It's not like he's suiting up and going to Gaza, he just made a correct, moral statement on the issue, which is relatively rare amongst his class. I don't know if his motivations are genuine concern for the immorality of the situation, but it's quite telling that being anti-war can be confused for propagandizing for Russia.

Has he ever spoken out against Russia for attacking Ukraine?

I do however remember him going to a Russian grocery store just to glaze how great the country is and shyt on American grocers in comparison
