Everyone is taking what Phee is saying as gospel. I'm sure there's truth to it, but I wouldn't doubt she's mischaracterizing the conversation. This is another reason the WNBA won't get the deal they want. Having Caitlin Clark come into the league is like online businesses during Covid. You get the boom, but it doesn't end up being sustainable, and then you have situations like this where you make the league look terrible, and the general public thinks it's just another WNBA player crying.
I'm waiting to see what Candace Parker and the rest of WNBA podcast heads have to say about Phee's statements. I already know that at least a couple of them are going to diss it.

AS THEY SHOULD.
EVERYONE KNOWS IM
ALL ABOUT PAYING THE PLAYERS
BUT THIS WASN'T ABOUT THAT.
THIS WAS PHEE BEING A SORE
LOSER AND USING A FEW DISTRACTIONS
LIKE CLARK/REESE
TO DEFLECT FROM THE FACT SHE READ
A 4 MINUTE LETTER TO COMPLAIN
ABOUT THE REFS

She showed grace to her opponents after the loss but she's in a damn walking boot
She shot 0 FTs in a physical game
Just say you're anti-Phee...but the ironic thing is you're always bigging up Unrivaled, which she is responsible for
You're separating her talking points when the main underlying theme is that the league doesn't care about the players...look at the officiating, look at what Cathy said about the young players, look at the playing style, look at the state of negotiations

If that’s the case, then why didn’t Engelbert deny it in her response?Everyone is taking what Phee is saying as gospel.
