I think the money is still too low for the amount of games played and the quality of the W in general. Silver too dumb to realize that Project B probably more dangerous than Unrivaled. W hasn't mentioned any additional benefits either, just slowly creeping up the money.
44 games with 2-3 days of rest max for a minimum of 220k? 5k a game with the possibility of compounding injuries? No pension or health insurance either.
Not surprised they telling Cathy to fukk off and taking that Saudi money. W trying these chicks like they're UFC fighters

W showed their hand too early with the selling of the expansion teams
250m valuations and the explosion in popularity? People knew Clark/Reese/Paige/etc wasn't even gonna be playing in the playoffs and they still broke a bunch of records, it was still the old guard pretty much representing in the playoffs this year.
The Wizards/Hornets' value has literally quadrupled in only about 10 years.
Browns/Jets value nearly quadrupled as well.
Historically bad teams becoming more valuable because of growth.
How much is that growth clause actually worth per year? Teams could reach a billy in value and players still only seeing less than 10% of that collectively?
Plus, the WNBAPA isn't filled with the worst players in the league, just like the NBAPA. I very much doubt they're going to take that.

The W still has near peers though. There has to be zero doubt in a players mind to want to go to the W. If the pay is similar, benefits are similar or even better elsewhere, and the schedule not as grueling?
Outside of straight up not making the roster, there shouldn't be any reason a player should mull over the idea of playing in the W or going overseas/third party league.
