you had to really decide exactly what game you wanted. Get one game for your birthday and one for christmas, if you got really lucky you'd somehow manage to get one in between big holidays or on easter or some shyt. Then you had the GOAT blockbuster or hollywood video. My parents were very forgetful about taking the games back on time i know them late fees were a bytch :lolbron: and then there were games you'd get your fix at your friends house. One of my best friends family was wealthy so he always had all the best shyt
Your white and had a Computer in the early 90's,yo fam had more money then most, only time I seen a computer in early 90's was at school, shyt they made us practice typing on a printed out piece of paper of a keyboard :wow:

Y'all younger generation miss out on a lot because of technology. nikkaz used to get together and have tournaments back in the day, shyt didn't matter if it was sports, fighting, whatever. 10 people, weed, junk food and ONE TV. shyt was some of the most fun I ever had as a kid.

The shyt talking, roasting sessions, just straight ignorance/fun was great
Madden and Fight Night competitions every Saturday at my pops house back in the day :banderas:

Online play really fukked up the local scene, it let the anti social bytches who would never go to the local scene, have the scene. Now they're making games with zero local co-op :scust: but I digress...

When I was younger you didn't get every game, shyt was a strategy. You found out what the homies werw going to get and you got other shyt so you could trade off.

This.

Played tonnes of games in the NES era and only ever owned one. Each person on average had about one or two games, yet evryone played loads of games. We'd just exchange games in high school.

That neo geo sale was actually a deal
Yeah it is... but NeoGeo catridges can run you $200 a pop.
:damn:

Buying a good Neo Geo game was like buying a console back then.
Now its worst.

Buying a top-tier NeoGeo game now is like buying a cheap car.
"You want Samurai Showdown?" $825

Exchange NES games in high school, damn you :flabbynsick:

Heh.

Probably more due to games and tech released in the States during that era taking a few years before they arrive in the Caribbean. Super NES was already out in the US when most people started getting NESs around these parts.
