I hope you don't mind me asking... but why did you wait until you were 25?

The voluntary portion of it was that I only liked the chicks who didn't like me and didn't like the chicks who did like me, and in situations where the stars did align I was a prick.

What contributed to the involuntary portion of it was that my parents, although smart, never really instilled a sense of social grace into me, I didn't hit the gym as much as I should have, and I pursued interests that most girls aren't into. Which were all voluntary choices but the effects felt involuntary.

The situation is that I've basically been a 3 who's chasing after dimes, and when I do get action I'm suspicious of the other party.

Not harsh at all and im speaking from experience. You can't have a shytty attitude and expect to meet a good person. Your overall attitude reflects the type of people you attract.

Actually yeah I do have an attitude problem but I find it kind of funny that you seem to derive some sort of offense from it. You don't really need to get personal with those attacks. And also I don't really care about you telling me what I already know, I'm the world's biggest expert on myself, you read like one post. :manny:

He was a VIRGIN WHO CAN'T DRIVE. :hmm:

The fukk? I drove frequently.

Why yall ant married? 29 year olds +

i'm a lot older than 29 but oh well...
my wife died but i will probably be remarried by end of 2016
i think most unmarried 29+ on here suffer from untreated social anxiety
that is biggest obstacle

online dating is mostly for homosexuals (see 2012 stanford study)
but heterosexuals with social anxiety treat it as their main route to seek a relationship
that's a big mistake
#1 route for straight people is still through friends of friends

Can't dispute that friends of friends is #1, but online dating for straight people forming new relationships stands at #3 with 22ish% according to that study, whereas friends of friends is #1 at 28%.

Sooo you agree with me but at the same time you're put off because I derived that info from one post?

That's cool. Sorry if you felt attacked or anything like that but you did come off pretty negative and I wasn't trying to make it seem like I "knew" you at all.

Honestly ive made some mistakes in my life as far as not knowing what career i wanted. I know now and im going for it (Audio Engineering). Ive changed a lot as a man im more mature than ever and i can say im not inspired by the dating sence or to even go out and approach. Women dont due for me what they did for men in my 20s cause i was a diffrent man. Right now it about jesus christ and my goals.

a thread by @Dirty_Jerz (admittedly not scientific)
http://www.thecoli.com/threads/what-is-your-personality-type.223710/

52 - I's (~80%)
12 - E's (~20%)
so as a fast guess i'd say thecoli is 80% introverted
and many self-disclose they have untreated social anxiety issues
which is a running trend in these TLR relationship discussions

online dating is a valid method (as you said, 22-23%)
but doesn't it make sense that online dating should benefit extroverts more??

i'd think introverts would do best with a warm reception
where first impression is less significant
and reputation is proven by good/steady track record
with social proof to demonstrate their value
-friends of friends
-workplace
-church
-structured social groups
but i don't see many introverts on thecoli using these options

extraverts tend to make fast impressions and need less acclimation time
i met my wife coming out of a store into a parking lot
my father met my mother as she was unloading her car
kind of quick and to the point
so i think online dating suits extroverts more
(admittedly i have never done online dating- i am just thinking out loud)
