def the the gang shyt. and this was while i was part of it myself
which is why i look at dudes now like

when they try to tell me about how gully things are on they block, and i walk down these blocks that shyt damn near like leave it to beaver, people saying "what up fam" you can pretty much go into any neighborhood and as long as you not on no dumb shyt, you will be good.
but in the 90s? in chicago?
every where you went it was a group of dudes packed on corners flashing rakes and 5's and treys to you, you respond wrong, you get chased
watch how your hat is broke off, i remember going into terror town to see this chick and getting hemmed up at a corner store cause my hat was broke off slightly to the right, which in fact i spent damn near the whole bus ride over there trying to make sure my hat was straight smh
the wars on the boulevard. (55th garfield) and the countless times being chased from moe town by a group of kids waiting in the alley and the same damn set up. its one kid sitting on the corner, he sees you and your friend going to the store, he yelling at you talking shyt you pop back, he opens his arms up like what yall go do, me and my friend come over to beat the kids ass, he runs to the alley, gives a bird call, next thing you know its 40 kids coming out the alley chasing you back across the boulevard.
could never wear red when i was a fan of unlv rebels and georgia gear.
the adventure it was taking the 63rd st bus home from school and getting your bus attacked at every over corner smh
having to ask the chicks you dealing with "how them dudes act on your block" before you go visit her.
so glad that bs is over.
