Hypothetically...because I think both of these scenarios are unlikely but you never know...

FVV signed outright or Conley, the 23rd pick this year and you get to move Randle in the deal (saves them money)?

Again; I get it that neither of these situations are particularly likely to happen. But the offseason has felt like an eternity since the Knicks didn't get to play in the damned bubble. These are two recent rumors, why not discuss?

Depends on Randle for me. If it’s Conley and no Randle or Van Vleet but we’re stuck with Randle I’d rather have Conley. You should still have money to sign Gallo too. If we could somehow get FVV AND trade Randle for someone cheap then I’d rather that.

Conley if they have no choice. Knicks don't need no more old vets like Gallo. They need to throw the bag on point guards. With Billy Donovan leaving, the Knicks could throw the bag at CP3 if they can't get FVV. They then need to bring in Wooten and Iggy then try to get Josh Jackson and acquire a decent point in the draft. Randle and Portis need to be 3rd string centers until someone picks them up and Elfrid should get waived or be a bench warmer.

I prefer Conley to CP3 mostly because Conley is an expiring and the Knicks would be the team receiving assets for the trade.

The way the market is forming around a CP3 deal, the 76ers or Bucks will be sending assets to the Thunder.

fukk that. Get Conley, and draft his replacement to be his understudy.
