From the rumor mill it's starting to feel like Vassell is the favorite.

Macri with KFS said the Knicks are taking deeper looks at Vassell, Kira, Cole and Obi in his most recent news drop.

There are a bunch of interesting options that could fall to us. I want to get Kira, but my best case scenario would be trading up from 28 to grab him and using 8 on somebody else. Second Round pick...I'm praying Bane somehow makes it but that's doubtful.

One last name the Knicks scouting types are hyping is Pokusevski. I haven't seen enough of him to get as hype; but what I've seen and heard described makes him one of the most interesting prospects around. 7 footer, super fluid for his height and can really shoot...
I watched a video on Poku and if his game translates to the NBA he's gonna be the truth

Jonathan Macri the GOAT:wow:

He gave brehs a 5 minute slot on his show if they donated to Higher heights for America. It’s a national organization that aims to expand both Black women’s elected representation and voting participation.:wow:

I like the videos I've seen, but I just haven't seen enough of him to make a solid call. It's the unicorn style skillset and mobility but the same questions apply...how much weight can he add before his mobility is affected? How much weight does he have to add to compete with bigs? What's his position? Can he stay healthy? That kinda stuff. The other thing I can't get a feel for is his mentality out there. I haven't heard anything bad about his motor or toughness but I really didn't see enough to judge.

Yeah and the KFS crew has run a gang of charity drives for NYC related organizations. They always have a Thanksgiving donation drive too. It's one of the reasons I appreciate the hell outta the content creator clique that's formed.

For all this talk about Frank's aggressiveness, I find it interesting that Frank actually has his lowest FGA of his career this season but his highest PPG. That's a sign fellas...his efficiency is growing which is what you want. Get rid of the vets and hope the efficiency continues to grow and you've got yourself a nice two way player in Frank

Considering the circumstances, the incremental improvements he's made are promising. He's 22; hasn't had the same coach from one season to the next since 18 years old; and his defense allows him to be a value added player even if he takes a backseat in the offense (the weirdest shyt to me is when dude's try to downplay his defense...that's one area where it's just plain being a hater, everything else you can argue but come on).

The thing about his improvements that are incremental is that they're showing in the right areas of his game. This past season we saw...

- Marked improvement from the free throw line. The type we said would come and would be a precursor to his three ball improving.
- Three point efficiency slightly better but confidence definitely looking better. He was way less hesitant from three.
- His jumper off the dribble definitely became a thing, the elbow pull-up through a pick and roll specifically.
- His left handed handle is way ahead of where he started off, still a work in progress but the improvement already started.
- And his pick and roll creativity picked up; that's the difference of taking an extra dribble into the paint before passing or faking a move right and bounce passing to the cutter.

Outside of the free throw efficiency, none of these were mindblowing improvements. But details matter and if they come together right, things can clique. He's still younger than some college players in the draft this season. Dude can't change his draft place but if he keeps improving he can be very useful player.

Pointing out his astronomical foul rate isn’t hating. If you can’t stay on the court what good is it. I thought young Shump was a hack this dude takes it to another level and part of that is because of his lack of foot speed leads to hand-checks and reaches at times.

I’d also like to see him become more of a defensive playmaker with that 7’1 wingspan.

I don't think there's a Knicks consensus on who to pick at 8 but I'm hoping we get Toppin.

True true, I obviously didn’t see many games but anytime I did I tried to keep an eye on RJ. He looked ok for his rookie year but you can tell he has room to grow.

What is yalls most glaring hole? Feels kinda like my Raiders where it’s just a matter of needing talent everywhere. I can’t tell whether y’all need rebounding or shooting. Are y’all at least satisfied with where Frank Nitty is in his development?

I be wondering if it’s just a matter of finding the right coach and just keeping with stability when it comes to y’all.

The thing this team needs most is shooting.

The worst team in 3PT% and FT%. It’s why we shouldn’t even consider drafting a player like Okoro.

:manny: Willing to take Vassell especially with that three point shooting. Pretty sure drafting him means the end of Knox (which I couldn’t be happier for)

Why’s it have to be the end? I can see Knox having a TJ Warren like career a few years down the line.
