What do you guys think about Anthony Edwards as the Knicks future PG?

He's 6'5 and Edwards himself said he considers himself a PG

Star Georgia freshman Anthony Edwards embracing point guard role

They're playing him at PG this season and I think it could work next to RJ

Edwards will obviously be a top 5 pick

His jump shot is effortless and he has good athleticism

Edwards/RJ/Knox/Morris or someone else/Mitch (hoping Randle is traded)

Frank as backup lock down defender PG off the bench

Edwards/RJ could be an explosive tall back court

He’s like the guard Zion. Kid is huge. I’m going to need to see how he shoots this season tho, honestly that’s slightly more important to me than distributing is on this team. But the Knicks really have a lot of guys to choose from this draft.

*adds Tyrese Maxey to list of potential knicks pgs next season*

I only care about guards that can shoot from this year's draft. Don't care who (Cole Anthony being a preference just because of the pedigree) but a big guard that can shoot to pair with RJ and Knox. The lotto is filled with guards so I think we'll be on a good place and if that Maxey kid has consistent range like that, that's even more to choose from.

Knox and a PG that can shoot, along with Mitch to support RJ and we're good to go. Find a cheap 4 in free agency.

Agree 1000%. Apparently Maxey is a solid defender too with a strong frame. (I didnt stay up last night to watch but I’m gonna have to catch a few games now).

draft talk in early november :francis:

not blaming anyone for looking forward to it, just crazy this team is already bad enough to the point that's a relevant topic of discussion :mjcry:

I mean, when you look at what was done in the offseason, are you surprised this is the worst team in the NBA? They're a misfit team with a low talent level that's poorly coached. Let's be honest, there's no starting PG here and the best 3 players are Morris, Randle and Barrett. How good a team can this possibly be?
