Kuzma would probably be better for yall. Thats more scoring. Shamet is interesting through because he play the 1 or 2. A 6'5 efficient PG might what NY needs.Kyle Kuzma or Landry Shamet if we trade Mook to LA
Which young player do y’all prefer?

Any good point guard commands $20M at least. It’s not his fault he’s playing with a G-League supporting cast and what he did last season is to be commended not downplayed talking about seeding guys like LeVert and Dinwiddie missed a good amount of time and he still anchored that team on offense.
This “rebuilding plan” is leading us into the lottery and development hell. We need talent. We need a legit player to open up the floor for these young guys. We need to win games. We need to build a culture. No FA’s are joining an empty house.
Doc played him that way, when SGA was with the clippers.Shamet's not a point guard

FVV was giving Steph fits (on both ends of the floor) in the nba finals. The hell are you talking about?
According to Twitter, Trier got traded. Apparently he’s leaking shyt to random knicks twitter guys so take it for what it’s worth.
Not over Anthony Edwards, nope.
Right I believe Shamet's game could be tailored to the 2 or 3 as well. He's playing more PG this year by default according basketball reference when Beverley and Williams are off the court. Shamet still doesn't fit the traditional or modern mold of a point guard, but he'd fit great on this team as a solid 3&D swingman.

I just figured RJ is your future 3&D guy, so why not have Shamet at the point.
Either way he wouldn't potentially be a bad pickup.
Shamet and it’s not even close.Kyle Kuzma or Landry Shamet if we trade Mook to LA

No. He’s a 2. RJ would slide over to the 3, his natural position imo.A back court with Edwards and Rj.... Would that work? Can Edwards play the one?
What part of " I'm leery of the Knicks giving a BAG to previously unknown guards that had a good season or 2 in another system, because historically no one has ever come here and built off that success?" did you not understand? Paraphrased for this post, but that's exactly what I said/meant. What he did against Steph in the finals means nothing to me. It only matters if he can do it again. Consistently. For a full season. As a starter playing over 35 mpg. Do you now know what the hell I'm talking about?
