Not only did we dodge a bullet by not giving morris a big contract at the end of the season, but we ended up getting a first for him.

I loved his heart and his desire to play in NY, but he clearly is not a 1-4 option on a team. I hope h thrives in LAC, but he is better off being a 6th man rather than a starter.

He can be a starting forward on almost every team lol. He’s at the very least a major rotation piece on any team.

He hasn’t shot it well but his usage has scaled back and he’s been thrown onto a contending team. Clippers don’t have an offensive structure and have limited chemistry with 23 different line-ups this year. His shots will fall eventually as he gets more comfortable.

I agree, he could start on any team, so could of ginobili and lou. But just like them, I think he’s better suited to feast against the 2nd unit.

rj averaging 19/4/4 shooting 47% from the field and 38% from 3 in March w/ poor spacing and
playing w/ player hatin Julius Scrambles and Elc*nt Pisston

I believe rj would have averaged his Duke stats or better this season if he were
1) the #1 option as the main ball handler
2) had shooters at 1, 3, and 4

:yeshrug:

also is it just me, or does rj look more fluid and smooth and not stiff/robotic as of late?
he seems to be more explosive slicing and dicing opposing team's defenses

The Randle and Payton experiment has failed

Time to get Butterfingers and his toadie out of here.

Off topic but

I really like the idea of them adding Josh Jackson as a young piece on a team friendly deal. He’s still young as hell. Also Memphis has a log jam at his position and already need to plan to pay Ja and Jaren so he’s available. Right now he’s a bench piece, but he has a higher ceiling as a former top 5 pick. He would be a nice add on at the SF position if the plan is for RJ to stay at SG plus he should be on the cheap side.
