Honestly that might be it.... I don’t see how you start the season again with a virus that could infect players. It’s gonna be months until a vaccine (if we’re lucky) and months for it to roll its way through the populace.

The NBA has a infrastructure for this due to their experience with player strikes.

I know it’s grim but it’s been such a shyt show year of basketball...... let’s stop here and pick up again later.

Stay safe brehs

Yes, but it doesn't go through until Edwards is drafted 1 or 2. 7 is right at my cut off btw.
Edwards, LaMelo, Haliburton, Maxey, Deni, Obi, Cole, Killian...I keep the pick for Edwards and maybe LaMelo (still torn on it) ...Haliburton would make me think twice too.
So essentially you’d trade Killian and Julius for Cole and Lauri... :patrice: maybe this scenario is better if we get the 4th pick. :russ:
I would rather keep the 3rd pick which could be melo, edwards or wiseman than trade down.

I don’t see why people want lauri so bad. Dude is always injured, hasn’t played more than 60 games in 3yrs. We clown KP for being soft, but Lauri is softer than KP and a worse shooter, he 7ft tall and barely shoots above 40% and grabs 6 boards

The 3rd pick is more valuable to me than the 7th pick/lauri. I’m not even sure if the knicks are looking to trade julius, and if we are, I’m sure we can easily find a trade.
i feel you not wanting Lauri but trading Julius won’t be that easy this summer. And we HAVE to trade him. We can’t go into next season with him on the roster. For RJ and Mitches sake.
Wiseman might not even go top 10 tho. This scenario might be moot cause Hayes is looking like a bonafide top 3 pick as each day passes.

Of all the teams we should’ve been the ones saying shut this shyt down given the Westchester cluster and all the fans taking the train to MSG. Dolan is truly a c*nt.

Hope he doesn’t fukk with the concession stand workers.

In the second to last game of the season we got 20 and 10 from Frank.

Last game of the season we got 26, 5 and 4 from Barrett on 14 attempts.

Mitch finally got to a point of averaging more than 25 mpg over the last 9 games. He averaged 13 and 9 on 79% from the field in that span and blocked 2.3 shots per game. He was fairly dominant defensively. He closed the season with the highest FG% ever and his FGA's should qualify him but the total Field Goals attempted was 40+ short so I'm not sure if it'll count thanks to the season being shortened.

Kevin Knox was also starting to show signs of life.

Even though we were playing for lottery balls, what sucks about losing the end of the season is that this is the period of time where young guys get more rope. It really was looking like the game had slowed down for RJ and also for Frank and Mitch. Knox showed more signs of improvement in his biggest problem area (motor) in the post allstar break than he had shown throughout the first season and a half of his career. Iggy and Wooten never got the chance to be called up and give us a look at how their G-league success would translate. Dot and Trier probably would have gotten opportunities late as well.

We ended with a decent group of young guys showing good signs for their trajectories. That happens often in the late season when some teams mail it in and others are similarly auditioning youth; but it's still notable. We'll close the season with the 6th worst record and a 9% chance at landing the top pick in the draft...not bad all things considered. I'd like to piece together an offseason scheme similar to @Wargames great post when time permits. I thought we'd have more time to evaluate things but looks like you timed that offseason strategy plan perfectly fam.
