Would you guys do CP3 and Schroeder for Frank, Randle, Payton and Portis?

Just from reading the tea leaves and rumors; I wouldn’t commit to the cap relief of that kinda deal until I see what else we could get for the cap space. Teams are looking extra frugal so the cap space could have premium value.

Not turning this type of deal down outright, but I just think there may be interesting rebuild options when the signing and trading period opens up.

How do we get bazley thrown in is what I want to know.

Nah. Don’t want Schroeder and I’m not giving up Frank.

My G........to give up Randle and Payton??? You can't be serious. There's a lot of Frank Ntilikina's out there, lol.

Randle an Payton are toxic af. I'd give up any asset besides a pick, RJ and Robinson to dump them. Even I, the only Knox fan in this thread, would give him up to dump Randle and Payton.

Can y'all please stop with this Frankie stanning and be realistic?

We're going into a draft, where we have an opportunity at the 8th seed to pick a pretty good point guard and an opportunity gets dropped on us to get a mentor in CP3 to mold him and play him around RJ along with a staff that pushes defense and can potentially build Mitch to be the next big man......yet you want to F that up by keeping Frank, Randle and Payton? How silly does that sound? Y'all proving ISO right.

We can just opt out of Payton this off season. We don’t need to trade him to get rid of him. Although i love Frank, just throwing him into deals that are dumb make no sense. Again, we don’t need to give up anything to get Chris Paul. We’re not in any position to succeed with him so why give anything up for him? I’m not saying Frank is untradeable but throwing him into trades senselessly is not smart when he can be used to grab a bigger fish potentially. And before y’all sit there and tell me nobody wants him, literally every writer I’ve read this summer try to come up with trades for the Knicks has Frank in the trades. He’s not a scrub like some of y’all swear he is because he was the 8th pick and isn’t scoring 20 a game.

Well then we opt out of Payton and throw in DSJ then get CP3 and FVV plus keep the 8th seed. I'd still throw in Frank or Knox in a heartbeat for those odds. We have 4 definite players we need to dump and that's Payton, Randle, Smith and Portis. That gives us leeway to get 2 max contracts. Am I right?

Ntilikina has lil to no trade value :skip: what are you saying?

He is not coveted or particularly respected around the league. We have already been in talks to move him and nothing ever materialized. Even OKC, preferred Knox in talks. Knox is trash but at least his length and shooting stroke is attractive to teams. Ntilikina sucks and they already have a lot of guards and have Dort and Roberson as defenders.

Chris Paul is a damn Hall or Famer coming off an All-Star campaign :dwillhuh:
