The Knicks have averaged 32 wins a season the past 20 years. The disaster is already here.
And we’re going to win 32 games with Westbrook.

The Knicks have averaged 32 wins for doing the exact same dumb shyt of star chasing players like Westbrook.

Why not do it different? Why not actually make smart moves and bring in compatible pieces.

We’re on a path of predictability. A front office that seems to cater or be built around an agency, a relic like Thibs, bringing in Westbrook.

shyt is looking like same ‘ol Knicks.

Thibs-Westbrook will be Marbury-Larry Brown 2020.

FVV at $23M is a much better return of investment than Westbrook at $41-46M. :laff:

U nikkas want to pay a 34 year old Westbrook who will have declined $46M. :laff:

34 year old Westbrook hogging the ball with completely shot finishing ability and a broke jumper.

:scust:

Why does he need to bring shooting and defense? Because we have neither. :bryan:

That’s why we’re better off targeting a PG like VanVleet who is rated as one of the better defenders and shooter at his position who can play on and off the ball.

Westbrook is a box score guy the 27/8/7 means nothing it came with low impact. D’Antoni’s system is actually what helped him put up those numbers as they even got rid of Capela to play 5-Out in order to help him.

Yeah, CP3 is a shooter. He has an elite midrange game, he’s a great FT shooter, and he’s been shooting 36-38% from 3 on 4-6 attempts the last 3 years.

Westbrook isn’t taking us to the playoffs my guy not this version that’s useless in the half court. U are asking for a disaster by bringing him in.

Exactly

I’m gonna say it again this team was last in 3PT and FT. We were the leagues worst offense.

U are asking for R.J. to bust by not bringing in shooting and spacing.

Westbrook does not help this teams spacing.

Okoro does not help this teams spacing.

As long as this team cannot generate three point looks or convert them we will remain one of the worst teams in the league period.

knick fans (and management) need to let go of their personal bias and think about whats best for the team. i dont care if you dont like westbrook (im not a fan of his really either) but sayin hes not better than van fleet reeks of personal bias and stupidity.

just say you dont want him and keep it moving. that can be respected.

same goes for rose. im already heain he wants to draft ppl because of a personal attachment when he needs to shut da fukk up and listen to the experienced people he hired.
he already hired our head coacy based off peraonal bias, not to mention mike woodson is caa, plus da kentucky connection.

i dont trust any of these mutherfukkers

Westbrook sucks dude smfh. U are enamored by his box score stats that are a product of a 35% usage rate on a high paced team that catered to him with a 5-Out offense.

He’s not a good player anymore. And he doesn’t help teams. He is basically the Julius Randle of PG’s.

He is not a good monetary value and he is not good enough to warrant the time of possession he requires. He doesn’t mesh with our youth.

Did we cool off on dude still high on him a player who could develop into something real nice in the future good athleticism, 3&D, and has improved shooting off the dribble, these are tough looks.

Nope. We’re just like everybody else obsessed with this long ass draft process and discussing every new “flavor of the week” player.

Eventually you have to attempt to build a winning roster. The Knicks really don't have a lot of good options for next year in terms of fielding a competitive team but you can't have years and years of irrelevance. That's how you become the Donald Sterling Clippers. Plus the odds to get the #1 pick are so small it really doesn't make a whole lot of sense to outright tank these days anyway.

I'm not a fan of giving FVV a max/trading for Westbrook and hoping for the best there but at least they're ATTEMPTING to field a competitive team. You can't keep rolling kids out there and winning 25 games a year.

Dude, y'all don't have any franchise players, next year's draft has at least 2 of those in Cunningham and Jalen Green. Tank next year, then sign decent vets in the '21 off-season

Fam, Mitch was a potential lottery pick that fell in the draft because of off court/maturity issues.
:comeon: nikka please

I’m not in love with that running and dunking nikka and want to move up in the draft.

In a vacuum it doesn’t matter what he coulda shoulda woulda been. As I’ve said many times bigs like him are a dime a dozen we don’t need one as good as him we just need one to be solid. That guy will never be a feature player and is still a project.

Getting Westbrook is us putting a bandaid over a bullet hole again... Only thing we'd look forward to is a few first round exits... we'd literally turn into the OKC of the East. But that rivalry with KD though! :gladbron:

So you'd rather miss the playoffs altogether every year and watch meaningless games by February....cuz they might not get out the 1st round?

Speaking of which, we get Westbrook, I'm shooting you. :picard:

Dog, that class might be closer to the 03 class... cats like BJ Boston and Jalen Johnson are gonna be dope too. There could be 5 or 6 franchise players in that draft.
