House of Yasharahla
I remember that Friday 13th night he got shot and was pronounced dead. I was about 14-15 and that shyt hit a nikka hard. My mother's house phone blew up (no cell phones at the time) and people thought it was a joke. When MTV confirmed it it was like a punch in the chest. I don't think people really believed it as a whole and Makaveli dropping just reinforced that conspiracy theory. Texas nikkas especially Houston cats took it hard. DJ Screw even screwed and chopped All Eyez On Me Book 1 and Book 2 and had it on the streets by the following Friday. Before he had the shop and was strictly selling out the house off of Telephone and Park Place.

Texas nikkas loved Pac. I remember the Monday after he died, some nikka from the east coast was laughing and talking shyt about 2pac and got his ass whooped by this hood ass Mexican. I was like, that nikka deserved it :ehh:

I was a freshman in high school at the time. Anybody my age would have bet their life savings that dude was going to survive. You can pull up interviews from grown ass men and fellow rappers, even Biggie saying the same thing. Pac was seen even by his enemies as one of the toughest, realest nikkas they knew. I couldn't believe that he died. I liked Pac and Biggie equally, but when Makaveli dropped :wow:

Why'd that woman in the news say he was picked up by a helicopter when the reports real an ambulance took him? She's blonde, but how could she mistake a helicopter landing with an ambulance

Apparently that lady was actually found and it's this chick

Read the comments. NO one gives a fukk about what she has to say and only want to know about pac :pachaha:

To be honest, it was sad for me.

Back then, the only way you could find out about things is thru MTV and I still remmeber watching the day when it scrolled across the bottom that he'd been shot.

Then a couple-few days later on local radio they were saying he'd be ok and live thru it.

Then you didnt hear anything for a bit and a few days later they said that he died.

It was sad and a complete shock....nobody ever expected anything like that to happen and Pac was on TV shows, movies, etc, back then so everybody knew who he was.

No. I was 19 and laughed when Pac died because it was like a reality show. like, nah...he's on a spaceship next to Bigfoot and Elvis...he ain't dead.

i was hungover as hell with an older broad in my bed when they got BIG and that one kinda hurt a little because he didn't need that death. that was a foul death. eye for an eye. i saw way more dudes really saddened off BIG but i'm a new yorker. BIG didn't need to die like Pac.

sorry breh but I don't believe that as a 7th-9th grader you were down with the dark themes of me against the world, aggressive gangsta shyt of AEOM, nor could you fully comprehend gridlock'd or poetic justice
so being 13/14 what about tupac dying made you upset? no more California Loves?

:what:

everybody WAS not a dumbass just cause they're a teenager.

I can't speak for these teens now tho....

Keep Ya Head Up, I Get Around....Pac was around to me 4-5 years before he died. And I was one of the few people who had AEOM CD when it first dropped. This white dude at my school wanted to hear it so bad he gave me his watch(a nice one) as collateral while he borrwoed it for a few days.
