On one hand I’d say you’re being obnoxious…but on the other hand if ribs are touching you shouldn’t be worried about some shyt like this anyway :yeshrug:
The tandem OLEDs are on the C6 now which is a mid-range set. There's nothing obnoxious about it. It's like going out in 2020 and buying a PS4 when the PS5 was released. If the tech has made it down to standard on the mid-range why go out and buy old outdated stuff?

You can't get a OD-OLED LG TV. Tandem tech is the best LG offers.

The person savvy enough to wait for the C4 to go on clearance and buy it over the C5 when that was new was making a good move as they're close to the same set. The C6 is a tandem set with better tech than a C5. They'd be better off waiting a year and getting a C6 on clearance. Most people aren't upgrading TVs because their set died it's usually a luxury purchase and some other perfectly functional TV is moving to another room.

My guy a lot of people don’t have the 800 much less the typical price. Spending 2k plus for a tv is life in a bubble.

I just posted the article to give insight to what you talkin about.

I got a TV plug here in Atlanta. My current joint in my basement is a 55" C1. My master bedroom TV is a C4 I got new from someone who got 2 from Costco accidentally. My youngest son's room in the basement has a 48" Sammy S90D (paid 300 for it). Oldest son got a 55" C5 for college (paid 500 for it brand new lol).

Plug got a couple I was looking at:

65" C5 for 775
65" S90D for 550
77" S90F for 950

A c5 for 800$ is the steal of the century. Tandem oled or not.:mjlol:
Still a pass to me. The price of tandem will come down. When the QD-OLEDs came out I spent $2200 on just a 55 S95B at launch. When the S95D went clearence last year I added that for $1100 so half the price for a slightly better TV.

The person that buys a C5 today a year from now will be watching people get the C6 for that price with much better brightness and colors on it.

Again most people buying new TVs have a perfectly functional one they're replacing it with. Moving the old TV to the bedroom or something.

Go to a Magnolia or comporable store and see them next to each other. It'll be clear.

PROTIP: If you buy a non-OLED, never look at one. TV version of post nut clarity:mjlol:

This is what I'm rocking currently in my living room. Is this the type of TV you're disparaging, because this year's Black Friday/Cyber Monday I plan on getting something proper and I'm looking through the options/recommendations in here, but I wanna get a gauge on how ass (pause) my shyts is, compared to what I should be aiming for.

Hisense 55" E6 Cinema Series Hi-QLED 4K UHD Smart Fire TV
Incase it don't show up. It's low-midtier (If even that) that I got for cheap last year when things were getting better financially, but come this November, Lord's willing, I should have enough to drop atleast 8-1000 on a solid TV to finally run my Xbox/Ps5 like it's meant to be.
