Would love to hear em and nas on the same track. But yea that much is obvious, doesn't make him better overall and nas's technique is solid as fukk and allows for more consistency. Either way they both got their base from Kool G.
Also double time is great for variety but not necessary, it def keeps nas from being able to do some of the shyt that em, or even jay does as far as riding beats, but he has his own pocket and is smart enough to stay there..nas on a beat like "hovi baby"

Reference track with em laying dre's vocals...he really shoulda dropped a verse on the cross honestly, da fukk was the point of nas taking that wack beat without a verse lol, unless he was shook...
Nas was trying to get him on a remix to "daughters" but I can see why he declined that, they gotta hook up sometime though.

If Nas spent all his time calculating how many syllables can fit into a line and coming up with every single word that rhymes and bunching them into as many lines as possible just to say he can do it, then he would be just as good as Em. Nas happens to care about making good and interesting music as well as being good technically, though.
