see, im an "old" head

i grew up in the era when No Way Out was larger than life.

he ain't never been a great, let alone good artist, however in those days, the writers he had like B.I.G, Ma$e and Jada helped him spit some dope lines but that wasn't his lane. his lane was being the producer/executive and the occasional adlibs, all that other shyt was dripping with wack juice. lol

him trying to do the whole R&B thing now was just like :comeon: to me

dude is washed.

see thats crazy 2 me cause Mary J's best work was with diddy. IDK breh....

it was, you're right.

but again, Puff was in the background, as the producer/executive, not the artist on her albums.

nah, im just saying as an artist he's a wack rapper, lol

his lane has always been knowing what works as an executive producer/producer. that's where he excelled at in the 90's.

i hear you though, :pachaha:

The beginning of his decline if we keeping it realiam.
Nah

He was still evolving as an artist at this time and finding new ways to approach making music with 808’s. Then with MBDTF he put all his styles together on one album perfectly, but it’s also where he peaked musically.

After that album, that’s when he started going downhill. He was still trying new shyt but most of it sounded unpolished and lacking in soul

I was a big fan of whatever that album was with the blank disc as the cover.....the 1 with the blood on the leaves / C-Murder mash up....every1 hated on that shyt but it was hard AF. But yea it lacked soul FR. it just knocked and was a vybe.

MBDTWF was the magnum opus.
