Beyoncé jus a better singer.. she trained her instrument to do virtually anything.. I have two music degrees righ now and when I started getting into pop voices when training to be a vocal coach, I found out that she was really crazy with it
I don’t know a lot of professional singers let alone pop stars who could go from full operatic placement to full soul in the drop of a dime



I get that Beyoncé is overrated and her fans are the devil incarnate yada yada and it’s funny to hate on the bytch cause we tired of seeing her, but to pretend like LIVE she’s not one of the greatest pure vocalist of her generation is corny..

Totally agree . I think you’re speaking to the versatility and still being great at it. Adele seems more one dimensional - I agree with you.

She was The Voice, but nobody listens to her music like that outside of that Bodyguard soundtrack.. she sang a bunch of boring ass ballads that nobody cares about. I was jus talking bout Whitney in general as a artist. Her discography is overrated.. stale and overall mid.. Clive had her making boring, bland dry AC ballads for most of her career and no one really listens to her music outside of that soundtrack and maybe shoop.. and nobody knows or listen to that shyt today unless u over 45.
By the 00s it was easy to see how mediocre and how bad Whitney’s musical output has been for the majority of her career which is why outside her classic singles mostly coming from Bodyguard nobody really fukkin with her catalog heavy like that. Like I said the black community of that time regularly shytted on Whitney for being whitewashed
